Fruit cake in mould – shortcrust

Ingredients

For the dough:
  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g margarine
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pack vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
For the filling:
  • 400 g apples
  • 25 g raisins
  • 50g white breadcrumbs
  • 75 g sugar

Preparation

1 Prepare the shortcrust. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
2 Roll out two thirds of the dough on a sheet of paper.
3 Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the dough.
4 Place the apple slices, raisins and sugar evenly over the breadcrumbs.
5 Roll out the remaining third of the dough and cut into strips.
6 Place the strips over the filling, forming a web.
